Dylan Stevenson

Aged 11

In the judges' opinion this study succeeds because of Dylans's careful observation and excellent execution, and the essence of the Fox has been captured.

St.Stephens Primary School will receive a signed copy of
Mike Sibley's book "Drawing from Line to Life".

2nd prize: Samir Tariq

Samir Tariq

Aged 8

Canon Burrows Primary School

Samir receives a £25 Argos voucher and a signed limited edition print
"Redtailed Hawk" by Mike Sibley.
This study shows a deep love of Nature and a lot of knowledge. We also like the little touches - such as the ripples on the water from the tip of the Weasel's tail, and the quirky humour of the fly on the Weasel's nose. These things only occur to an artist who is "living" the experience as they draw or paint.

3rd prize: Ellie

Ellie

Age not known

Ravensfield Primary School

Ellie receives a £10 Argos voucher and a signed limited edition print
"Grandpa Grizzly" by Mike Sibley.

The judges consider this to be a very good rendition, drawn and coloured with understanding.
