I was born in Manchester, UK, in 1968; I now live in Audenshaw, Tameside with my four children and wife Elaine.

My hobbies are art, photography, wildlife and cooking.

Drawing as a child seemed a natural ability, I didn't totally understand why everyone couldn't draw, my schoolteacher always made me sign all of my drawings, which was a little odd for a nine year old.

After leaving school I started to look for a hobby, I would draw birds of prey just for fun.

After a twenty-year break I discovered an Artist "by mistake" who made me sit up! I read his website night after night, I studied his techniques, I purchased his book, and I also attended his course and only then did I start to draw once more.
